Dr. Robert Byrd has been a Kentucky resident for over 50 years. He has more than 20 years of experience working as doctor in the fields of Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine. Dr. Byrd is fully aware of the long-term impacts of opioid drug dependency, and being trained in Physical Medicine, has a philosophy of utilizing pain management only as supplemental to physical rehabilitation services. Patients referred for pain management by rehab professionals such as physical therapists, chiropractors and occupational therapists, are often encouraged to complete their prescribed course of rehab.
